Pertandingan mencipta lirik lagu serta menyanyikan lagu tersebut berdasarkan minus one diberi. Macam menarik! How to participate?
Round 1 – Regionals
1. Open to Malaysian residents aged 18 years and above.
2. Contest runs from April 4, 2011 to 30 July 2011.
3. Participants need to compose their own lyrics related to Fruitale, and must include the line ‘Fruitale, Buah Hatiku’ within the song lyrics.
4. You have 4 choices of genres to select from: rock, pop, rap/R&B or reggae.
5. Music will be uploaded to Youtube for you to download for use as Minus-1.
6. Record a video of you singing your Fruitale song in (Malay, English or Chinese). Maximum recording length is 30 seconds.
7. Email your video file (max size is 10MB) with your full name, age, IC number, address, contact number, and lyrics to fb.fruitale@gmail.com.
8. We will post your video with only your name and your song title shown on facebook/fruitale.
9. Ask you friends to ‘like’ Fruitale, and then to ‘like’ your video.
10. Shortlisted regional finalists will be selected based on
▪ The number of ‘likes’ their performance receives (50%)
▪ Performance, vocals, presentation, creativity by a panel (50%)
11. The top 8 qualifiers based on combined ‘likes’ and talent scoring will perform live at a mall in your region.
12. A panel of judges including either Malaysian superstars Dafi OR Marsha will select the participants who will move on to the finals.
13. The top three contestants at the regional level will each win a product hamper worth RM100.
14. Videos from the top three performances at each region will be uploaded to Facebook.
Finals
15. From the 12 shortlisted finalists, the final eight (2 from each region) will be selected based on 50% ‘Like’+ 50% by panel of judges will compete at the Fruitale Buah Hatiku finals in Kuala Lumpur.
16. The final will be held ‘live’ in front of a live audience.
17. Finalists must be present to sing ‘live’ to be eligible for any prizes. Finalists who are not present will be instantly disqualified and will not be eligible for any prizes. Replacements from the final 12 may be invited to take the place of finalists who do not attend.
18. The finals will be judged by Malaysian superstar Dafi, Marsha and a panel of judges from Fruitale, Mydin and the music industry.
19. Decision made by panel of judges is final.
Prizes
1st prize: RM 5,000 cash + RM100 products hamper
2nd prize: RM 2000 cash + RM100 products hamper
3rd winner: RM 1,000 cash + RM100 products hamper
5 Consolation prizes: RM100 products hamper
Terms and conditions
1. This competition is open to permanent residents in Malaysia aged 18 years and above.
2. Employees and their families, affiliated companies and agencies of Lam Soon Sdn Bhd are prohibited from taking part in this competition.
3. Lam Soon Sdn Bhd, its affiliated companies, representatives, agents or employees are not responsible for, and shall be indemnified by the prize winner and entrants against any claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, use, misuse, possession, or loss of the prize and from any and all use of the video entries.
4. The shortlisted finalists of the Idola Fruitale must agree to make public appearances and to perform at the final stage of the competition. Tentatively, the competition will be held at Fruitale’s event site in Klang Valley. Those who fail to attend the final will be disqualified.
5. Lam Soon Sdn Bhd, its affiliated companies, representatives, agents or employees would not bear any cost arising from the participant’s video recording, video submission, transportation from the participant’s residence to the final stage at Fruitale’s event site in Klang Valley, accommodation, lodging and transportation from Fruitale’s event site in Klang Valley to participant’s residence.
6. Participants shall abide by the rules, regulations, terms and conditions of the competition as revised from time to time by the organizer and accept the decision of the organizer as final.
7. Lam Soon Sdn Bhd, its affiliated companies, representatives, agents or employees shall be entitled to:
» Change, add, or delete any parts of the Competition proceedings and formats.
» Make and to authorize the making of any recording of participants performance separately from or in conjunction with Competition
» Include, or choose not to include, participant’s name, likeness, voice, biographical details, photographs and recordings of interviews or in conjunction with the Competition in all media and formats
8. Lam Soon Sdn Bhd, its affiliated companies, representatives, agents or employees would not pay any fees, royalties, or other consideration in respect of any broadcast, subsequent rebroadcast or any other use by the Organizer of the Competition in any manner or media format.
9. This competition runs from April 4, 2011 to July 30, 2011.
10. Adjacent to any promotion entry field: "This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
